I'm E'lia Jona Brown, a young growing believer in Christ sharing my experience with other believers. I want to share my journey (the good, bad, and ugly) in hopes that it will help you grow your roots as well. My Story
I never thought I would be making a website to help impact other believers but here I am. But, just know I didn't start this way. My journey started in 2022 when I was not nearly as close to God as I am now. I was in college confused and just trying to figure out what was for me. I had grown up in church and knew all about the Bible, Christianity, and religion but at the same time, I knew nothing.
I was lost and felt alone. The Bible didn't feel like comfort to me, it just felt like a bunch of inspirational quotes and stories that didn't relate to anything in my life. I had to reach my lowest to find God. Everyone's lowest is different. My lowest was failing my classes (after never getting anything lower than a B in all my years of school), never leaving my dorm, more alone than ever, and get this...pregnant. I thought my life was over. Until I opened up the Bible my parents gave me before school. At first, I was just going through the motions but as time progressed and I stayed consistent with God and had faith (before I knew it was faith) I started to blossom. Never had I known or experienced Jesus in this way. I would get lost in scripture for hours, intently watch three-hour-long sermons, and worship God everywhere. This was just the beginning. After some months of delighting in the Lord, I started to feel God nudging me to write, so I did.
I planned to write just a little planner so my boyfriend bought me a course to learn how to write, publish, and market a digital product. I started to write and it evolved into more and more. The little planner turned into a short ebook, then into a longer ebook. I realized God had something different than what I thought I was capable of so I asked God, "What is it that You really want me to do?" To make a long story short, He wanted me to write and publish a physical book and He provided every means to do it! The finances, the wisdom, the knowledge, everything. (If you want to learn more about that you'll have to hear my full testimony). Everything within writing this book was God-ordained, all because I allowed Him to use me.
